If you could have lunch with anyone living who would it be?
If I could have lunch with Sir Richard Branson, it would be a dream come true as I’ve admired Branson since a very young age. He’s my favorite entrepreneur because of his ability to change, innovate and be unique in not only one industry but in several — all while keeping a positive attitude towards life. One of my favorite quotes from him says: “Many assume my business success has brought me happiness. But the way I see it, I am successful because I am happy”
I love to travel! Anyone close to me knows that wanderlust is my favorite word. Exploring new lands gives us a better understanding of people, culture, life and spirituality. My favorite and best vacation was when I went to Cancun, Mexico, in 2008, and ever since then I go back anytime I have a chance. I fell in love with the culture, cuisine, hospitality, scenery — especially the pyramids, beaches and cenotes — which are to die for. There is no doubt in my mind that my willingness to travel all corners of the world and be humbled by understandings much different from my own has set me on the path of purpose most intended for me.
Favorite thing you did as a kid that you still do today
My favorite thing to do is ride my bicycle. Being a resident of sunny South Florida gives me the opportunity to ride my bike along the beach, which I do often. I use it as a way to relax and exercise at the same time. Plus, we have to take advantage of our all-year -round summer weather!
Last book I read…
The last book I read was ‘Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill, which takes an in depth look at the power of the mind and personal beliefs and how these influence our success.
