Moss Foundation Raises Over $225,000 for Florida Non-profits During 5th Annual Charitable Golf Tournament

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – On Dec. 3, the Moss Foundation raised more than $225,000 during the organization’s 5th annual charitable golf tournament, the Plumb Bob Classic, which took place at the Trump National Doral Golf Club.

At the event, Chad Moss of the Moss Foundation presented seven non-profit organizations, HANDY Inc., Boys and Girls Club of Palm Beach County, Wounded Warrior Outdoors, Voices For Children Foundation, Special Operations Warrior Foundation, Metropolitan Ministries Inc., and Place of Hope with contributions totaling $125,000.

“Voices For Children is so grateful to receive the support of organizations like Moss Foundation. It is when good people pull together that we are able to transform lives of children and youth who end up in foster care. As the only organization raising funds for the Guardian ad Litem program in Miami Dade County, we are honored to receive this contribution” said Nelson F. Hincapie, President and CEO Voices For Children Foundation.

The remaining funds that were raised through the golf tournament will be donated to several charities throughout 2019.

The event’s title partner was Lotspeich Company of Florida. Additionally, over 60 corporate partners including Carnival, Warren Henry, Flex Wheels, Ozinga and many more sponsored the event through in-kind services. Continue
